Same here, Facet pump works great and has served me well on lots of trips. Bought two at the time, never needed the spare so far. Fitted directly under the turbo without tank.
Same here. Mines been on for 4 years now. Even has been melted where it came loose and moved over onto tge exhaust

You would probably be better off getting a 2nd hand alternator. I dont know of any off the shelf regulators parts for oil cooled engines
-
That is very nice indeed

No need to swap stems. Just put gsxr bottom bearing on busa yoke and you can get a taper roller bearing in the right size for the top. Dead easy.
But yeah get the matching wheel and discs too. Make life really easy.

I had a big bore short stroke motor in my race bike. Was 837cc iirc. Mad it an ace motor. Was about 115bhp with ported and flowed head.
Not sure if you can still get pistons though. Well worth the upgrade if you can.

Headlights are often useful for preventing car drivers from pulling out in front of you, and if you use the stock GSX wiring, preventing the reg/rec from going up the shoot. I'll get me coat......
Lots of noise is way more effective than lights in my experience lol

so whatever its called...I'll get me popcorn......it is possible. Sounds like a plan. Who needs lights anyway
Lights are way over rated. Ive been bulb free for 4 years now :-)

That frame is georgous. Is it going to look like it did?

Good on you. Enjoyable to read. Look forward to next years efforts.

It may have been a ballache but this is going to be awesome when its done. Attention to detail and getting it all to fit neatly is great. Love it

Only way to ident them properly is measure the lobes and compare against specs.
All oil cooled cams have 27A on them, and bits stamped on the ends dont relate to engine/model either.

Not sure im brave enough for that. Yet.
Nice rgv 125, or gsxr 400. Not massive steps :-)

I can speak to Rob if you want. Talk to him quite often anyway

what happened to the GSX engineed GSXR1100 project?
Time, money, more time.
Got a plan for next year that means ive got an eligible bike that should be fairly competitive for virtually nothing.

600 bandit discs are 290mm
Maybe its a 7.5mm unused area lol

isnt that due to it being a narrow gauge caliper on a normal width disc?
Those Pretechs are for conventional discs, or the few sets Ive had were, its PFM narrow track calipers that need skinny discs.

Sounds about right, 12psi should see around the 200bhp mark
-
Ive found 19mm radial works really well. Goid feel and not much lever movement.
Any conventional 5/8 master will work well too with good pads and braided lines

You can see the 5mm of disc thats now not being used there due to them being smaller, would think there will be a 5mm amount of pad on the outside not being used too.

Pretty sure its just the slabbies and the short stroke slingshots that have different frames to the 1100. After that the frames are the same dimensions
