So, whos doing the track day?
We need to form our own splinter group and all fling poo at the non riding show pony OSS peoples from our side of the fence :-)
On a serious note, would be good if we manage to set up in the same area

Track day peoples, i will now be taking my marquee to put my bikes in so I can sleep in my van. Its fairly big so room for another 4-5 bikes should anyone want to pitch up near me and have bike undercover at night time.

I thought this got sold?
Nope, had a bit of interest when it was on Eblag. Didnt come to much, never bothered advertising again, came in to bit of cash and now i get to keep it :-)
Which is nice because I really like it, makes me smile riding it

Pretty sure short stroke rods are different size big and little ends to 1052 and 1127/57 and busa.
Pretty much a no-go idea

44mm for the big tubes and 38 the smaller. 2.5mm wall thickness on 44mm and 4mm on 38.

Sarah, I have a mate that's keen to get his TLR on the track day too..
Is there a chance for one more?
He best read the trackday rules, unless hes got a magic pre production tlr made in 1995. Not allowed even if there was spaces ;-)

To have the hot side ceramic coated it does not require anything rebuilt..........
presume it's a Subaru IHI VF and if so have done a lot of them previously, not sure you understand how it dismantles??
Course i understand how it dismantles, however just getting the exhaust housing done to me is just half a job. Would still leave the cartridge looking the same. And imho look crap.
Like i said im not overly interested in taking a perfectly good turbo to bits just to make 1 bit of it more pleasing to someone elses eye.
Bike is about functionality over form

They split centrally and then you can simply get the 'hot side' coated
Theres no rebuild kits easily available and very few companies rebuild them.
I would not consider leaving the internals fitted whilst it was being blased/coated.
And im not going to pay a fortune for one of the few companies who can do it to do a rebuild just for the sake of ashtetics.
Should it ever need a rebuild then i may look at coating it whilst its in bits anyway

Mines not most turbos, ihi vf series are not easily rebuildable. Im not paying a fortune to send it to the usa to be rebuilt just for the sake of coating the housing.
