Cool. Hopefully see it running well soon.
As a side note i found a seller on the Bay who does malpassi spares, you can get a fpr spring rated 1-3psi for about £2. Ive ordered one to see if they are ok. Should be a better option than cutting down standard spring. He also does replacement diaphragms, worth having one as a spare

Had it on the dyno, pleased with the results, 25bhp up on the old engine, made 280bhp at about 15psi. Couldnt get anymore as dump valve couldnt hold shut. Stronger spring and a good check over and im ready for playing.
Pretty certain its making over 300bhp, i ususlly use another dyno where we can move the fans to go through the intercooler and it makes a difference of over 20bhp. Only made 258 on dyno it was on yesterday so its better.
Feels faster on the road too

Might be worth looking for a fuel pump off a zxr or somthing in the future, they shut off when carbs are full, just helps to make sure fuel gets there well all the time. Had one on my race bike as it used to be funny when running low fuel loads

well done!! should have been a gold tho! awesome...
That was also the opinion of most people their and 3/7 judges who didnt even rank the ruined sportsbike that won at all. How a customised sportsbike is considered a custom performance bike at all I dont know.
Never mind, thats bike shows for you. Im proud to have gotten anything, given that mines not built for shows, in a couple of weeks It will be doing its thing round Donington :-)

I broke it. Lost a bit of power and didnt sound right. Left it alone. Good job. Bearings on 2+3 con rods are mostly glitter in the sump. I suspect the crank shells in the middle are none too clever too. Engine build number 3 this week ready for Pendine this weekend. What fun.
