Yes brand new fitted was ok but had the odd mis fire
if it was running ok when you put the plugs in then a miss fire started it could be fuel, where the plugs wet ? fuel can kill plugs but trying another 2 known good plugs might be worth trying.
-
it could be a superseded part ?
-
have you tried 2 NEW spark plugs first ?

good save

my guess is it'll be a squeeze with the cylinder head in-between the frame, and if it does go in their won't be any side to side movement if the output sprocket needs moving. also will the carbs fit in ? only a guess though ??????
-
the only code i can find is 04Y but can't guarantee its the exact colour though ???????

you could fit/weld 2 top shock bolts on and go twinshock !! would make life much easier and look much more cooler

the oil cooled motor is my favourite engine but are 10 a penny and you could get one anytime, the EFE engine though is getting almost impossible to fine so strike while you can.
-
yep, EFE engine

as wraith says the carb rubbers are different but both sets are interchangeable, mk1 rubbers with mk1 carbs, mk2 rubbers with mk2 carbs. also the mk2 has the speedo sensor on the output shaft if you want to use an electronic speedo.

I learned this method for dirt bikes that weren’t ridden often so the clutch plates would stick. Start it in neutral push the bike jump on with clutch pulled in put it in gear with clutch lever still pulled in and ride it. The clutch should free up. Ride it in a no obstacle or no traffic area, if the clutch doesn’t free up quickly, stopping could be awkward
every time ive done it its worked fine, just don't be to agresive on the throttle
-
your clutch plates are stuck together, fire the bike up and push it then jump on, with the clutch lever pulled in put it in gear. then just get on and of the throttle lightly till they break loose, keep the lever pulled in though.

You've got a big one their F.B.

if you have 12v to the left coil which 1 & 4 and number 1 is sparking then it has a 12v supply, same setup to the other side.
