feck, i struggle with the one language i know

one thing to think about is the two middle cylinders will run a little hotter as they are surrounded by two other cylinders. some bikes use bigger main jets to help cool them down a tad. like the B600
-
I wouldn't buy them.
-
just 44 more
-
yes but you need 50 posts to see it
-
you can buy good quality side panels here in the UK, im sure they'll post over to you.
-
Im actually thinking of the same thing right now, ive got some ET bodywork and been looking at some zuma's.
-
cheers Daz, i really liked that bike and it was great to ride with the 32mm carbs on, but I just don't get on with fairings the guy who bought it had a real kat but he txt me saying the Katzuma was better sorry to Katana owners.
-
the katana tank was pretty easy to fit with a little modification underneath. the ET tank won't fit as it is very slim at the front mounting area and the zuma frame is wider than an ET frame. you will have to modify the tank or the frame. but a bandit 1200 OR gsxr1100 engine will just drop in though.

that earth connection that F.B. mentioned can give all sorts of problems, on one of mine the bike would fire up no prob but as soon as I put it into gear (neutral light out) it cut out, pulled the spade connector apart and cleaned all the crap off it and all's good.

any 1200 bandit, they are all the same.
-
the only real way to check a CDI is try it on another bike.
-
most ally swingarms will fit but you will have to cut (or bend) the rear footrest framework off.
-
if I remember right the bandit arm is shorter than the 1100 slingshot one.
-
feck me thats some heavy metal

Do you know for sure both CDI,s are working ? If they are then my money is on the harness. Check for continuity.
-
have you got battery power to both coils ? have you checked the ign switch ?
-
it all depends on how turned on it is !!!!
-
how are they held on ?

it was one of the easiest builds ive done, tank fitted quite easy with little mods. the seat and side panels are off a 400 katana, slightly smaller than the 750/1100 ones. tail is 1100. the hardest part was making a mounting bracket for the fairing, couldn't find one at the time so made one. theirs a build thread on here.
