  1. It's always better to know.. good or bad.. I've seen some of mine on the bay of e over the years and OH MY GOD, what do people do to them?? Funny though!!
  2. Its quite nice to be able to pass on historical info to a current owner.. is there any merit of a new 'Bikes Reunited' section, if any moderators are watching? I'm not far off into triple figures for Suzukis over the years, so there's lots of mine out there..

  4. You need the proper pick up cover though..
  5. I can't help with the EG bracket but I definitely have complete headlight assemblies with mounts etc. if you're trying to convert an EF/ES to an E/EG? You'll need to change the bars too (if you have stock forks etc.) as the EF/ES ones are sharply angled and don't look/feel right without a fairing..
  6. I have a couple of genuine Suzuki workshop manuals that I could part with.. drop me a pm and we can organise something if you're not already sorted from the interweb.
  7. As kingofvenus says, teapot all goes straight in.. and that's what I have. I've sent you a pm regarding the parts.. I believe oil cooled ones fit (I know the header spacing is the same), but not sure about where the collector comes out.. maybe someone else can help on this? ES sumps are flat, so there's none of the usual shenanigans about worrying whether the collector hits the sump!
  8. I have four of these puppies and they're a super little thing.. much overlooked. Easy to upgrade front and rear, and I do have a complete (and cheap) running gear transplant if you want three spokes and modern forks/brakes, thanks to a thieving toe rag that denied me from my next project.. pm me if you fancy anything or want a pointer.
  9. I'd expect 110 bhp or so on the dyno from a stock 1135 motor, as long as no horses have escaped over the years..
  10. I'll check my parts lists if you have a number on it when you're ready..
  11. Bandit, GSX teapot etc. Make sure it has a speedo drive and you'll be good to go! I have a complete 750F rolling chassis spare thanks to a thief that stole one of my ES's, so you could have that cheap.. (basically everything is there minus engine, carbs and exhaust - it even has good tyres!!)
  12. I have a system off my old 1100 turbo somewhere.. if I can find it, you're welcome to it..
  13. No worries, I'm the same.. tend to store and forget though!!
  14. A beautiful system.. I just wish I could find someone to make me on for my 750ES.. suggestions welcome!
  15. Are you sure that's carbon? A pic of the hanger section would help with identifying it.. Any numbers on the back of the hanger?
  16. Nice exhaust, more modern RWU running gear.. if you don't get carried away (easier said than done) you'll have a great machine for less than £1500 all in..
  17. NIce job - brings it all up to date.. looks good with the shortened rear frame too!
  18. Interesting to know if this is my old bike.. ex-Tracy Martin. The swingarm is different though, as I have a steel drag-slotted one in there. I have lots of pics of the build back in the early 90's.. pm me and I'll tell you where the frame number is and what it is, what it was registered as and what it could be registered back to (if you get my drift) I sold it (when it was beautiful again) to a chap in Oxford, working at Rover and all he did was drag race it around the Cowley site.. assuming it actually is that bike..
  19. Thanks for that. I'll pick up some cheap Bandit headers off Eblag and see what's what. I'll be happy eventually to get something nice made up by a reputable company as one of my ES's is only chassis number 5 and has done ZERO miles. I've used Racefit before but I'm happy to try someone else if anyone can recommend a quality fabricator that does what they say they'll do in roughly the timescale they first agree to! :-)
  20. Hi All, I'm new to the forum but been around for many a year with big Kats and EFs.. Now I've retired, I'm starting a couple of 750ESD projects soon and was wondering if anyone can help me with exhaust compatibility to other models? If it was 1100/1200s (air or oil), I'd be good to go from my own memory bank, but I'm not having much joy on the interweb.. Some people say standard GSX1100 and even GS850 fit, but I'd be more inclined to think of Bandit/750 Inazuma etc.. Happy to get something made if I can't come up with something modifiable off the shelf. Thanks in advance!
