I've got a short stroke teapot motor in the garage with rubbers on it.

Only reason to change the sump would be to for clearance on what ever exhaust your using.

I know of some one who fitted FCR39 to their SB6,
But they did do all sorts of funkiness to get them in.

Ok.
I don't have access to a van so I'll be riding stinky over and back. It's about 3 hours each way. If it's dry count me in. Happy to pay for my spot up front,.
