    Inlet rubbers

    I tried to fit a set of 36mm carbs in these & they are too loose, next I tried a set of oil cooled 38’s they didn’t line up & lastly a set of wc 38’s fitted perfectly. Pic1 36’s, pic2 w/c 38’s & pic3 oil 38’s

    Inlet rubbers

    Ok thanks, I can’t get oily 38mm cv’s to fit but w/c’s will. The gap between intake rubbers 1 & 2 & 3 & 4 is less than the gap in the middle between 2 & 3

    Inlet rubbers

    Can anyone tell me what these are off & which ones go where 13110 41CO 13120 41CO 13130 41CO 13140 41CO
  7. Maybe not as you swap inlets 1 & 4 over to help with the spacings, whether it would work the other way with W/c inlets I don’t know
  8. I just wanted to show people the difference. The oil cooled set I have has no power hose at all, no take offs on the sides of the carb bodies & no take offs on the float bowls. Would these be from the Usa?
  9. There isn’t a lot of difference, the centre 2 are spaced the same but the outer 2 are 6mm closer in

    Choke

Am I just missing the choke cable? If so are they basically the same? Can I use any of the choke levered left hand switches?
  11. That’s a good question, was about 10yrs ago. I remember making up top hats to go in the front of the arm & making a bush with a hole in the centre to go in the slabby rocker & making up several different length doggy bones
  12. No.4 is hot but not as hot as the others. I’ve got to remove carbs again as 1&2 are leaking out of the filters
  13. What would be the possible causes of this?
  14. I fitted a B12 arm in my first slabby 7/11

    Carb jets

Are they both the same thread? Might have dynojet emulsion tubes which are not the same thread as mikuni/std jets
  16. Which rear wheel you using Mole28?

    Dead battery

The bikes not on the road yet, almost there. Had starting problems & float levels. Battery didn’t seem to crank the engine over many times before it died, so I had it it tested & I was told it was knackered so I bought a new one. But I had to pull the carbs off & take the engine out. So I put the battery on an Oxford optimiser left it over night & it read 12.6v 0.68amps. Which I thought the amps should’ve come down to 0.00. I put the engine & carbs back in, but dash didn’t light up when I switched the ignition on, I put the battery back on the optimiser & it read only 4volts

    Sidelight

did The slabby have sidelights or parklights? The Haynes manual shows the ign. switch like the first pic for all the GSX models & the slabby as the 2nd pic. Brown wire going to the sidelight

    Sidelight

On my slabby My switchgear enables me to have a sidelight but the one in my light isn’t working, what’s the best way to get it to work?
