  2. Fleabay UK. Rectifier item number 112265207898 Regulator item number 401116718979 Hope this helps. Effin expensive though. I'd buy another alternator off any newer compatible bike.
  3. Ok. The ferkin upholstery guy has done a moonlight!!!!!! Leaving me with no seat. Soooooo rummaged through the local breakers and found this seat. Is it a start for modifying? Or keep looking? Its the right width at the front but the back will need some work. Opinions welcome, good or bad or @Fjbj40can just give me his seat
  4. You could use gsxr1000 pistons and bush the little end down to 16mm. 1000 piston is available in a few oversizes. Stock it's 73.4mm. Deck height dosnt look far off either.
  5. Looks like the part number is the same for dot 750 and 1200 bandit so I think it will be ok to use em.
  6. Just been out tut shed. Have srad 600 front end 1997. Measures 281/2 inches or 724mm in euro speak. From ctr of spindle to top face of cap nut. Maybe a bit tired on springs soo add a few mm.
  7. EBC FA047 ducati rear grimeca pads.
  8. That's ossum!!! Thanks soooo much for the info @beam
  9. Can anybody give me the measurement from the lowest point on the headstock tube to the bottom of the lower frame rails? Straight to the floor not following front down tubes. Thanks
  10. Exhaust cam is 1989 750rk and intake is 95-96 750f that's going off the part numbers you have in photos.
  11. Crap! Didn't realize your dollar was sooooo baaaaadd All the good piggyback shocks are expensive for good quality ones so I'll stick with the wilbers, after all I'm no Rossi
  12. Wilbers usa do some quality shocks for under a grand and they have a sale on at the moment. I'll be getting a pair for the wes
  13. Flat bars and 04 Hardly moovinson sportster headlight and bracket.
  14. He dosnt tend to sell chassis as they are a pita to ship. I'll see what he wants.
  15. Friend of mine has just broken an ef. He has the frame which is all good as I've seen it. I'll check with him if you want. He's heading past joysey in December. Might be a cheap fix.
  16. Bigger diameter than the 16v plates
  17. Welcome to OSS the 850 and gs1000 used the same basket which took 1 less plate but the plates were bigger in diameter. The 1100g uses the same plates as the 1000, 1100 and 1150, 16 valve engines. Hope this helps.
  18. Get the vm,s on it old skool copper cooler lines, carbon work on tank is cool. You can get a tail piece in carbon for the gs now. Keep on modifying man. Looks great oss
  19. Just to add. A 16v crank is not the same as an 8v crank difference is in stroke and width of some of the crank webs.
  20. All 16v cranks were the same throw 66.4. All can be used in 16v cases. Hope this helps. If you have a 16v 1000 crank it must be from a katana with the good 493 rodz on it?
  21. When you Say gs1000 and 1100 do you mean 8v motor or 16valve. Gs1000 8v has a 64.8 stroke the 1000 and 1100 16valve motors have 66.4 stroke. 1100 16v cranks can be made to fit in a gs1000 it's a lot of work machining cases and such. Gs1000 into 1100 never heard it being done but anything is possible.
  22. Welcome to OSS we do need pictures it is mandatory ish.
  23. Thanks man. Tried to put everything into it that I wanted. Few things to do yet but it's going good.
  24. It does say to remove 5200 you have to grind it off Vm33 with the filter will work good. Have you any pics of your gs?
  25. Its the same over here in the US. Full engines for 1100/1150 rarely show up on fleebag and if they do they are way over $1000! Sometimes you can drop on a full scabby rusty non runner bike on cl but that's still going to cost over 500 and lots more to go through the motor. If one turns up that's not at the other end of the country They are getting rare as they have been raced, used in specials, and generally overbused. OEM parts are getting discontinued every day. There are people out there with them and they know rare is the case so they push the prices through the roof. Saying that I wish I still had my brand new 1150efe under a cover in the garage! Worth a mint in 5 or 10 years
