kermit Posted December 1, 2018 Posted December 1, 2018 Can someone tell if this vin code is for a 1100 katana GR71AD101261 Quote
arnout Posted December 1, 2018 Posted December 1, 2018 The VIN of my stolen GSX750S Katana is/was GR71AD104440... According to this list 1100 Katana's were numbered either GS110X- or GU72AD- Quote
kermit Posted December 1, 2018 Author Posted December 1, 2018 Okay... can anyone then say if it's a 750 or 1100 motor Quote
Swiss Toni Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 Should be a raised pad on the front of the barrels denoting cc. Quote
Duckndive Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 easiest way is to count the fins on the block Quote

Results will be (a) you end up in a bloody mess covered in gravel and grass (it’s a 750 ). (b) you wake up and your family are five to ten years older (it a 1100 ) make sure it’s on video . arnout Posted December 3, 2018 Posted December 3, 2018 Well.. It's clearly an 1100 engine, but quite possibly fitted into a 750 Katana frame. A view of the bottom engine mounts would reveal that. Quote
