Side stand cutout

Do you have to have the relay connected to the harness if you're not using the cut out switch?

The wire colours are

Green

Orange/black

Orange/Yellow

Orange/Yellow (+12V from fuse) should be connected to Orange/Black (to kill switch) and then you can ditch the sidestand switch, relay and diode.

oh yes and on the diode Blue (from neutral switch) should be connected to Black/Blue (to neutral indicator)

What do you do with the original side stand switch connections ?( green and black/ white wires )

I ripped them out of my loom, complete with diode and relay. Connected the remaining wires as writen above.

it would be a better idea to write one story which covers all the wiring modifications on oilcooled bikes, like the charging mod, sidestand cutout, circuit breaker elimination, and have it put in the vault.
