Radial USD fork set up on a slabby

Any pics of having modern USD forks on a slabby 

Thinking of doing this but not sure if will need a stepped yoke making up due to the height difference 

Got a set of 1991 USD set up on at minute to get it rolling round garage but not sure if modern ones are even lower on front

03-04 Gsxr 1000 front end. I had to make a sleeve to use the top tree on the 87 stem, but you can just use a water-cooled top tree tom avoid that.

Never used a stepped yoke, front end sits lower but just turns in a bit quicker. Had these in for years. They’re from a GSXR 600 K4 - the radial brakes are the best upgrade ever - along with a Brembo Master cylinder.

The WP forks from a KTM RC8 are longer than most other forks with radial brakes. The lowers are 54mm so will fit a Suzuki 750 bottom yoke. The tops are 51mm so a Suzuki 750 USD top yoke (e.g. Y, K1-3 etc.) will need very slight opening out. These forks are great and are about 1/2 the cost of a knackered set of ohlins from an ancient Aprilia Mille or Ducati. And they're longer.

Think we all forgot to mention about cutting off steering stops on lower tree - at least on the Gsxr 1000. Had to have a nub welded on in the center. I'll try and find a pic.
