Running total loss in Endurance, smaller of the Li's that we've got is safe to an Hour with a start thrown in. We use the larger of the cells that we run for Lights, which consume way more than an ignition circuit.

If you're racing or doing track days, remember that the charge time is always greater than the discharge time, by a factor of 2ish for safety. If you can get away with remembering to always plug it in first, when you get back off track, can't see that you'd ever have an issue. If you're starting the bike from cold, or don't need to start in a holding area, may as well just stick an auxilliary on there like a static battery or jump leads. Even more peace of mind.

The dragbike did the whole day without alternator last saturday on the dyno by the way. No problem. Got a total loss of 1V.
