Spirit Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 My GS1150 fiended its stock CDI box.....I was able to ride it back to the dealer (90 miles on 2 cylinders..). Got a call from them the next week, "Come and get it". When I asked what the bill was they said "We just put on a spare box we had sitting around." I asked "From which bike?". They said "Don't know, but it runs fine." I rode the bike like that for three years, and realized right away that the old box was faulty for quite a while. Conclusion: If you can find another Suzuki box cheap, try it. It might work. I only replaced it because I got a "friendly" price on the correct OEM. By the way, bike ran exactly the same.....just my 2 pence. Quote

Swiss Toni Posted October 26, 2018 Posted October 26, 2018 Hi Aymen. Welcome to OSS. As Spirit says, try an alternative unit. You never know. Or, try ordering one from UK breaker? 2 Quote
