davecara
I'll get the vernier over my spare set when I get home, be about 9 o'clock unless someone beats me to it! Quote Link to comment
Jdeac1981
Nice one. I take it that the link pipe or can will be a slip over style aswell. Cheers Quote Link to comment
Blue
See if I can measure my set that are for sale. They are k5-6 that were modded to fit oil cooled Edited October 3, 2017 by Blue Quote Link to comment
Jdeac1981
Are they forsale on hear?? Im looking to see if the cans I have will work before I purchase. Quote Link to comment
davecara
43mmi make that to be. The standard link pipe has a butterfly valve in it with cables coming off it and a bolt on can Quote Link to comment
Jdeac1981
Top job thanks for doing that. Cheers jon Quote Link to comment
Jdeac1981
@davecaraWould you be able to measeure the diamiter of the tube/pipe engine side of the welds circled. Looking to make them into a twin can setup. Should be circled in the pic. Cheers jon Edited October 3, 2017 by Jdeac1981 Quote Link to comment
davecara
a smidge under 42mm directly behind the weld (header side of the weld) then that narrows slightly to 39mm before it flares out into the collector. They're not butt welded where you've circled so it may be possible to grind the welds back and separate the pipes, be prepared for lots of white sparks though!! Quote Link to comment
Jdeac1981
You are a top man. Much appreciated. Cheers Quote Link to comment
Jdeac1981
@davecara Do you know if I would be better of running a v sump on my b12 750 or will the original b12 sump be fine. It's a mk2 if that makes any difference. Quote Link to comment
davecara
No idea would be the honest answer! They hang pretty low under every oil cooled engine I've put them on so there's plenty of clearance for you to get some heat in there and bend them up to fit properly Quote Link to comment

Jdeac1981
Thanks for that. Quote Link to comment
wraith
Will clear the sump OK, but you do need spacers for the headers, well you do when you have the k zorst on a oilcooled motor in a aircooled frame 1 Quote Link to comment
