Swiss Toni
'99 Blandit. The locking fuel cap is causing problems. Key goes in, but won't turn at all. Dropped a bit of graphite powder into keyhole, and rubbed a bit on the key, to no effect! Still won't turn. Any ideas??? Quote Link to comment
Reddragon
Have you tried pushing it forwards a bit like you have to do with worn Suzuki ignition switches ? Quote Link to comment

Yup. No good! 41 minutes ago, Captain Chaos said: use you key on your own bike, not someone else's You're such a comedian Joris! However, I tried the key out of an 1100 Teapot, and it fits! So at least I've got a pattern to work from, if needed. Quote Link to comment
Antman
Won't be the lock barrel, be the locking mechanism below where the 2 fingers move in and out to engage the tank neck. Id spray WD down the lock barrel hoping for it to seep into the mechanism below. once off spray the moving parts on the underside of the cap. Quote Link to comment
Dezza
Worn key? If you have a spare key try that. If you eventualy get it undone the lock can be intestigated in detail as to what is causing the problem. Quote Link to comment
