'99 Blandit. The locking fuel cap is causing problems. Key goes in, but won't turn at all. Dropped a bit of graphite powder into keyhole, and rubbed a bit on the key, to no effect! Still won't turn. Any ideas???

Have you tried pushing it forwards a bit like you have to do with worn Suzuki ignition switches ?

Yup. No good!

use you key on your own bike, not someone else's

You're such a comedian Joris! :D However, I tried the key out of an 1100 Teapot, and it fits! So at least I've got a pattern to work from, if needed.

Won't be the lock barrel, be the locking mechanism below where the 2 fingers move in and out to engage the tank neck.

Id spray WD down the lock barrel hoping for it to seep into the mechanism below.

once off spray the moving parts on the underside of the cap.
