Maggo Posted December 23, 2016 Posted December 23, 2016 (edited) I'm after a good plug&play exhaust system for my EF (yes, the fairing is missing ). A friend told me the marshall exhaust is crap. So, after which exhaust do i have to look for? The full-race-screaming-cans are not legal here in germany - so V+H Dragpipes are not a good recommendation to me. Gpz1100_Convert Posted December 23, 2016 Posted December 23, 2016 v&h do a street system that was based on the original drag use pipe. they are road legal and look good as well. They also sound lovely with a deep tone. I had one years ago on a (non suzuki) and it performed well. Mark Quote
Blubber Posted December 23, 2016 Posted December 23, 2016 Sebring looks good period correct AND work good .. it's the one with the flat / forked collector i am talking about. They pop up often on Eblag.de .. the black enamel ones will suit it nicely Quote
kiwi Posted December 23, 2016 Posted December 23, 2016 (edited) Marshall deeptone exhausts are Ok (very queit) but yes there's better out there, and it depends on what state of tune you have or future mods planned ? Edited December 23, 2016 by kiwi Quote
Maggo Posted December 23, 2016 Author Posted December 23, 2016 Do i have a deeptone - there just numbers on it? I plan just a smooth, solid acceleration - so no special mods are planned. Except the 17" wheels and GSXR forks. But thanks for the advices! Quote
Gpz1100_Convert Posted December 23, 2016 Posted December 23, 2016 other option given the cost of exhausts is to go to race craft (I think that is the name) and have a custom one made. When risk had his made I do not think it was much more than an aftermarket and was stainless to boot! Mark Quote
Sheep Posted December 23, 2016 Posted December 23, 2016 Do you mean Racefit?...Simply gorgeous exhausts. Quote

Maggo Posted December 27, 2016 Author Posted December 27, 2016 (edited) Someone offered me a Yoshimura Header - can someone identify this one as a Yoshi? There are no signs. He says that he crashed the belonging muffler Edited December 27, 2016 by Maggo Quote
sharpy Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 (edited) Looks like a off the shelf yoshi. bends/kinks in that wouldnt be a race system. Even the ones i mocked up look better. Well sort off lol ......... https://grabcad.com/library/suzuki-gs-1000-exhaust-headers-1 Edited December 28, 2016 by sharpy Quote
Maggo Posted December 28, 2016 Author Posted December 28, 2016 So, better look for something else? Quote
sharpy Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 Noo was half joking. Just seems thats a standard street pipes. Still looks good, not sure about drain plug access tho. Oil filter mite be ok. Always money V Quality when ure wanting to by something. Would say 100-150 bucks for good headers like that. Quote
Maggo Posted December 30, 2016 Author Posted December 30, 2016 What about GSXR / GSF headers - i tried to install a bandit Schüle system, but it seems that it doesn't fit. Quote
