  2. Is there a way to use that rear bracing a tad lower so it can be used as a engine mount aswell. Save using that tube that sits above the chain by using mounts inbored on the LHS
  3. Im talking about around a race track, not at the drags. And it has a sister now. Well two weeks ago the only bikes that finished in front of them where harris/xr69 type specials im sure. http://bikereview.com.au/shawn-giles-19-tbr-katana/
  4. If you are on FB look at the builder of the fastest kat in the world...... https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100007607174157
  5. Just look wrong. look ok on a black engine kat or GS1100gk

  9. You have to find something in this search. https://www.google.com.au/search?q=gsxr+oil+catch+tank&rlz=1C1CHBF_enAU716AU716&espv=2&biw=1920&bih=901&tbm=isch&imgil=NwZbmy2rpYDltM%3A%3B91BzNcOIl1vRtM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.aussiestreetbikes.com%252Fforum%252Fshowthread.php%253Ft%25253D26231&source=iu&pf=m&fir=NwZbmy2rpYDltM%3A%2C91BzNcOIl1vRtM%2C_&usg=__nuomzvfOXrkIxABbNieoK8hDnLM%3D&ved=0ahUKEwjRnZaOnN3RAhUk_IMKHaE3A0wQyjcIJg&ei=o4-IWJHAMqT4jwSh74zgBA#imgrc=_
  10. Lazy way is to park bike on side stand leave it parked like that all nite with the brake lever strapped up against the throttle tube. Have handle bars turned to the left so all the air flaots to the surface.. works wonders sometimes. But yes, always get good pressure at the master cylinder 1st when doing brakes. then work ure way down the line bleeding each connection.
  11. Me aggreed with that in my 1st post.
  12. But that thing was THE Ohlins test bike as he was there test rider. 1st set of USD that anyone every seen when it came to OZ. G
  13. Yes. but there always the fastest just before that bang. Sorry only info i know. But we did have EFE cams in a 1170c Kat engine with 33 Mikuni smoothbores and Tingate Race pipe that had 125HP on dyno. So easy to get ok HP from those engines.
  14. Which one is that? There's Rogers Marshalls Superbike, Anderson's works Suz with experimental USD Ohlins Fork. (he was there test rider) and Robert Holden's Superbike for the Swan series.
  15. Seems you still have to make/buy a part that has room to allow oil flow through as show in Race Tech Website... http://racetech.com/page/title/DRod 5-1
  16. Opps so it is. Its just some pics on FB and was wondering if anyone seen the rods before.
  17. Welded and straight cut gear. Only have pics but he sort of claims there off a GS1000R. The bike after the XR69
  18. With all due respect i thought cooling holes where only as round as what the material thickness X 2 was ( 4mm material = 8mm holes) that was being drilled. Any more and you are creating less surface area than making. Or those holes look bigger in the pic. Ive been wrong before and will be again
  19. Has anyone seen these before. and are they genuine XR's?

  21. opps answered my own question from Racetech's website...... Comments Electric compression valve is bypassed with Emulators.
  22. Was told this on another site..... the 1988 GSXR 1100 forks that have Racetech emulators, the anti dives are completely non-functional including the stainless brake line extension to the anti dives. Just need confirmation i can just make a plate. But thanks for that info aswell
  23. Can you just blank off those holes in lower leg or does one have to make/buy those tricky CNC milled ones that let the oil flow thru. Or is there a mod you can do when putting race tech valves in your forks? thanks
