38mm bst on 1100cc Dynjet kit?

Some where in my addled brain I recall Dynojet did a specific kit for fitting the 38mm bsts form a 750m on to 1127 motors. I can't find any listing for this kit on dynojet's website.

Did such kit exist, and if so has anyone got a part number for it, or did I just make it up?

Stay away from the dyno jet kit.

Your be replacing needles and tubes every 5 minutes.

Can you recommend a dyno man in southern England who can set them up then,  because  the 2 I've spoken too, both said fit a Dyno jet kit.

Not the cheapest but you do get quality work.

Dyno jet kits are really good once set up but they do not last I was changing needles and emulsion tubes yearly, on track bike they develop a hideous flat spot coming out slow corners its kills the bike honestly.

Another reason why I developed the following.

Got my 11 on 1186 kit to 160 hp with 40mm cv with original airbox and k and n to this figure on stock emulsion tubes. Yes engine was worked and worked in everyway but got it there. Do not junk airbox you need it on track bike and donot be persuaded otherwise.

On my brothers 1100(1052cc) with bst38's,it was setup on the dyno with 130mains. He used msg racing in Aylesbury,they  are brilliant with gsxr's and don't use dynojet kits

I have a factory pro kit specifically designed for 38's on an 1100, I've yet to fit it as I'm still building the bike, I have used a factory pro kit on a 750 with the same carbs and the results were very good, they take about a week to come, as previously advised use a good dyno man.

Ive got a kit for 38mm, best carbs and it just comes with three sets of mains some clips and shims, factory pro number I will find tomorrow for you it's there supersport kit. For the 750m !  We ended up at 142 factory pro mains ,  I think.

Still have needles never used them , as new if you needs some.

Also jonnys mod with needle spacer is a diamond mod, we chewed threw a set of emulsion tubes , before this mod and it made huge difference to needle angle and postion.

Funnily enough that's very close to what I'm running save for the float heights. and needle positions. I'll look into the needle spacers, and see if I can knock some up.

What is it that the stepped spacer actually does?

It's keeps needle straight,look inside where needle lives , in the slide because in side the base of the slide is a small step this offsets the needle which wears out your  emulsions and causes bad fueling and running flat spots .so little spacer keeps this all parallel and square.

Cool. Had a half formed memory that was the case - I try to stay well clear of CV carbs, but do have a set of WN/P 38s under a bench...
