Mikuni RS flat slides on GSX1135

Hi,

Quick question.

What intake manifolds are people using to fit flat slide carbs on GSX1100 heads?

Or are you just using a length of suitable diameter silicon hose?

I use standard inlet rubbers on my ET head,with 38m flatslides. When you fitt them use red rubber grease, makes them fitt easer.

I wasn't sure if the standard inlets would stretch the extra 2mm.

i use std ones with my 38s as well, just warm the rubbers up first as well as the red rubber or silicon grease

Not exactly on my doorstep.

Ill try the original rubbers and see how I go.

I bought new rubbers and made the job of removing/fitting sooo much easier than before with the old cruddy ones...

This, and get the EFE/1150 manifolds instead of the ones for the earlier GSXs as they are larger (due to the stock 36mm carbs vs 34mm) and so will make fitting alternative larger carbs a lot easier too..

I used a heat gun to warm the rubbers. Its an EFE so as said its a bit easier
