mkoppeser Posted June 16 Posted June 16 Can anyone recommend a good quality engine case bolts kit for the GS1000? Stainless steel alan heads preferred. Quote
Dezza Posted June 17 Posted June 17 Go to your local fasteners supplier on an industrial estate and buy 5 to 10 of each different length M6 stainless cap head from 20 to 75 mm in 5mm increments. It'll probably work out cheaper than a 'kit' and you'll have a load left over for future use 3 Quote
Dezza Posted June 17 Posted June 17 ???? Why would anyone buy fasteners for their bike from Screwfix, unless in an absolute emergency? Quote
wraith Posted June 17 Posted June 17 Kay's on eblag, As @Dezza said just buy individual sizes, you will find most will be about 35-40mm size but you will need longer ones as well. Quote
Duckndive Posted June 17 Posted June 17 Most of the fastener Sizes are on the Alfasports parts diagrams ...if you want to wile away an hr or two None of My local "in a 15 mile radius" engineers merchants keep SS cap screws in stock any more .. But Jeff does But as i have lost count of the engines I've broken for parts i quite often have them anyway .. 1 Quote
