I have a set of EFE clocks that has cracks in the perspex. Have any of you learned folk out there ever attempted  separating the perspex from the clock body, have tried all manner of ideas but no luck.

Any ideas pls?

That would be much appreciated bud, thankyou.

It seems impossible to separate them so I give up.

If you pm me a price and send your preferred method of payment I'll send it over along with my address .

Thanks again(y)

They are bonded together! When you think about it, that is the only thing stopping water getting inside - its understandable!

I get the need for a seal but this seems impossible to separate. On the other hand I've never heard of one springing a leak.

Dab of quality silicone would do the trick but good ol' Suzuki wouldn't make money by selling the complete upper case I suppose.

Spare upper case? My guess is that a whole new set of clocks would have to be bought at vast expense but I am happy to be proved wrong.

There is some variation of the positioning of the 99 idiot lights among different 'EFE' models but as long as the neutral, high beam and oil pressure lights still work that's not a problem.

Managed to get hold of a top cover on its way to me.

Thanks to @redgs1000 in the true spirit of oss he has very generously donated one FOC, I do hope he doesn't mind me making this public but I personally feel that great gestures of this nature can't go without a mention.

thanks @redgs1000(y)
