HWB Posted March 5, 2023 Posted March 5, 2023 Manual for the 38 flatties says std screw setting is 1/8 1/2 maximum. I just want to confirm this. If its the case then its wayyyyyyy different than my cvs which are 2 1/2 turns. I made the mistake of not counting how many turns they were before messing with them Quote
no class Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 when you seat the screws before turning out to final adjustment ….be gentle as the tip can break off and become stuck in the orifice . I had to repair a set of rs36’s that the owner fucked up Quote
Gixer1460 Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 The manual is correct and yes they are waaaaay different to CV's, a totally different type of carb so settings don't translate! Quote
Duckndive Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 Its also best to sync the slides with them of the bike Quote
rodneya Posted May 8, 2023 Posted May 8, 2023 RS36's at 1/2 turn out getting a bit of spitting through the carbs at low throttle opening and a lot of popping through the pipe on deceleration. Should I be going to a bigger pilot. Bike starts easily and runs well. There is a lot of confusing info out there regarding these cards. Quote
