The gsxr1000 k3-4 are not to bad, need a bit of playing with.

I can take I pic of one on a gsxr750wr top braced swing are on Monday for you if you want.

Thanks for those. I'm not a 100% on how I'm trying to make it work.  Looks OK from either side. Not sure on the look behind. Doesn't want to sit right. Possibly need to trim the drive side some more.

So after a few more tweaks. I think I'm going to stay as I was with the modded fron guard.

So what's people's thoughts on mounting?  Just some small tabs welded to the top brace. The guard is made from some form of plastic. So has some flex. Not alot of stress on the tabs

@wraith do you think I could cut enough thread in some 3-4mm tabs. Or would it have to be a small bolt and nut??

Just trying to get loads of bits sorted for my welder mate. Then i will update my dormant build thread

4mm yes

3mm I'd be looking at putting a nut on as well.

You can always use a half nut on the back to help as well, just to make sure ;)

I'd like to know where 4mm ally is available: i need some > 3mm, < 6mm, and this is proving difficult to source. 3mm too thin, 6mm too thick. Anything inbetween seems to be the metal equivalent of unicon horns :(

I need a bit ~50mm wide and 330mm long, for my exhaust bracket. I think imperial size 3/16 would be perfect as that's 4 3/4 mm but it's just really difficult to source: all I get is 3mm or 6mm, nothing inbetween:( I think 3.5 may be too thin, unfortunately.

I'm back with this. I've had some tabs welded on the swinger. (Won't be using the bolts in the pics) drive side sits fine good tyre clearance etc. But brake side is OK. Until you get to the point my finger is in the picture. It's tight on the tyre where my finger is. Loads of room drive side. Think the different heights of the top braces the issue. But more eyes and all that. Any ideas chaps and chapettes

@clivegtoit all sits good. My thought is to move the brake side forward. Its the 2 differen shape/height braces thats throwing it off. Was good with the cable ties.. but now pulled in a little when bolted
