once upon a time I thought I had a TLS motor, so I bought a TLS airbox.....turned out I have a TLR  motor which has bell mouths bolted to the throttle bodies.... best be making me some of them too

moulded myself a number board to start making my new one from, moulded fine, 

tried to take a mould from the tank cover..... dunno what happened ,but it reacted and looks like the surface of a brain

reckon the tank cover had a clear coat on it, so cleaned it up and started again

 

with more success

re cut the logo on the filler cap since it was hidden there

footrest plates on 

steering damper and ignition barrel fitted 

lights are in the board and its hung on temp brackets

back to bodywork , take the scabby muddy I made 

several hours later 

it looks a lot more like i want it to ... a way to go yet, and then i need to take a cast  and then replicate in an aramid fibre

re-machined the mounts that came with the knuckle dusters, they were a bit scabby

bodywork time yesterday, with mixed results, chopped up a ktm rear muddie, stuck it back together with glue and tape, took an impression of it, i will rework that and repeat

 

 

tried the same with the front.... nice try bawbag...back to the drawing board 

 

 

got the numberboard all bolted on, no carbon skin until light aim checked, last of the brackets will get tidied too 

 

made a doofer to put the fan switch in the redundant rad hole 

 

treated myself to some German bling, cos i,m worth it 

 

and a temp sensor, just to keep an eye on things

skinning parts, like heavy paint, looks good tho 

 

this will take every evening this week, layer of resin, rub till almost through, repeat till smooth
