Sazbo Posted August 28, 2019 Author Share Posted August 28, 2019 So let me introduce myself, i live in CT USA, I’m a 61 year old guy so unfortunately rigidity sometimes can be a problem but after I figure out what if any aftermarket tank will fit on this frame without too much modification I’ll run out and get some blue pills for my issue. Oh I have an idea, maybe I can get a smaller tank and just pop a blue pill in it and wait until it fits on this gs1000 frame. I have three bikes, a 75 & 79 Yamaha XS650 and this gs1000, the tank on the GS is so rusted it has hole in it and can’t be used, but I’m having no luck finding anything for it so I’m here for your help. 1 Quote Link to comment

wraith Posted August 28, 2019 Share Posted August 28, 2019 Welcome to OSS If you get a smaller tank and put some blue pills in it, don't forget to give it a good rubbing to make it grow A gsx750/1100et tank fits a gs1000 frame, that's in your land the gs750/1100 ET 16valve engine, and yes a gs850 tank will fit the gs1000 frame.
