MORNING GUYS I AM STRIPPING  1982 750 katana import to replace its engine with an oil cooled 1100 f as i started to remove the elec connections in the battery area i have come across a black box with 3 wires red green and black and three buttons which read ( normal   auto 1   auto 2 ) any clues what it is and what it does their is no alarm fitted and the 3 wire disappear into the harness ,

there is no way that is a oem item.....trace the wires back to the connection , cut and bin the lot .

What happens when you press the buttons ?

most of the bike is stripped i found this next to were the battery goes

i might leave it and when i fit the oil cooled unit i can press them untill it magically starts the bike

could be an indicator unit with auto canceling, auto 1 & 2 being diff  length of time before canceling
