kiwisuzuki1100nz Posted July 9, 2019 Author Posted July 9, 2019 Damn - dont think so 88 was the last straight bolt in Quote
Captain Chaos Posted July 9, 2019 Posted July 9, 2019 basically it is. '89 and later 1100 and 1200 have a 12mm bottom rear engine mount bolt, pre-'89 1100 (and all 750 and 600's) have a 10mm one. Other issue might be exhaust routing, a sump pan swap will sort that out. And the '89-on has a single ignition pick-up. Again this is easy to swap. 1 Quote
kiwisuzuki1100nz Posted July 9, 2019 Author Posted July 9, 2019 ok thats not so bad and thanks! I assume sump pan swap means fit the 1052 sump pan on the 1127? Are the exhaust port centres the same? i.e. my current 87 headers should just bolt in Can you elaborate on the single ignition pickup? Is that the signal generator under the right side engine cover? Yes! Use the oil pickup that comes with the sump. Yes! Yes! 1 Quote
manden Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 What's the advantage by running the smaller 1052 pan? Quote
