Wilson Posted May 24, 2019 Posted May 24, 2019 First weekend at the track on May 12th, unfortunately a little short lived. After three practice rounds the clutch started to slip badly and I had to retire. New clutch pack and springs installed and I’m waiting for the next round in June. If anyone is running 18” tires I recommend Avon AM 22 and AM 23 tires. They give great feel and seem nice and sticky. My local club doesn’t know what to do with my ‘85 Slabbie....in with the 600s or in with the 1000s. Mostly they don’t know what to do with a 34 year old bike and a 68 year old rider. 24 Quote
bluedog59 Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 A couple of old racing addages, Beware the old guy in black leathers. Old age and experience often beats youth and bravery. Quote

domagoj Posted October 10, 2021 Posted October 10, 2021 I know it’s not my topic, but here I share some pictures from the races with you. For the past 6 years of racing just changing the oil and filters every year and that’s it. Standard R705 engine with Mikuni 36 of 750 Slingshot and front fork of 88 750 Slingshot... 4 Quote
