Reelinfeele
How much oil should I have in an 1100e? Book says 3200cc. I never see any oil in the window. Quote Link to comment
Swiss Toni
That's the correct amount. Quote Link to comment
Dezza
Make sure the sump is horizontal and add oil to the correct level on the window. If you have non stock wheels, suspension or (like me) a non-stock chassis and the engine sits at a different angle to stock, it's easy to overfill by mistake. Hacri
A motorcycle mechanic who is well known with the bikes says level it, and fill to the right spot on the glass. Sometimes 3200 is'nt enought.....and if you changed filter its more. Quote Link to comment
ral
Sometimes needs a little encouragement to show level so tilt bike slightly over to clutch side and presto appears like magic 3200 is your start point as will depend on a few factors, best checked when warm and stood for ten mins, on level ground.
