Bought a set of cheap, £20, 750 Teapot inlet rubbers from Eblag to try with the RS36's . Lovely and supple and seem to be ok and the carbs fitted with a little grease, a small ratchet strap and a hose pick. If you're critical, you might want to match the ports to the inlet rubbers, but there's not a lot in it to be honest. They do place the carbs closer to the head, but there's still not enough clearance for my application.

What year is gen 1 up to? Does it apply to Bandit 1200?

Anyone know if all the oil cooled lumps use the same gearbox output shaft spline?

After baseline wheelbase and gearing for the Bulldog? Stock Bandit 12 in Slabby 750 frame with stretched swingarm, no fairing, for now. No idea where to start and want to save time and money. Ta

Is the fuel in the tank fresh? Doesn't like sitting too long. I've been there. Had similar problem on Trumpet I bought cheap. Previous service invoice showed tappet shims had been done. Cam timing was out.

But is the welder a bird shit dispenser, or can you weld?

Raask are a bit crap really. Sorry. The build quality is dire. Tarozzi are much better, be in the same place as the rocking horse shit. Make some adapter plates to take late model GSXR items.

While its idling spray carb cleaner around the inlets. If idle increases noticeably you have an intake leak.

Failing that it is possible to bleed the brakes without cracking the bleed nipple.

Need to get it much hotter than you think. I'd imagine the caliper is probably overdue a strip and service. Strip it right out and then you can heat it properly without melting the seals.

Can you make an adaptor plate as suggested above?

I made adapters for the ABBA stand that bolt to foot peg hanger mounts. You can strip the bike to the bare frame like that.
