  1. Boss has been out on the Turdo. He's shit hot at setting bikes up and diagnosis on the road. Got 2 psi fuel pump running, engine off. Waiting on some 40 pilots to hopefully sort slight bog off idle. Boost blew the caps of the carb tops so sorted that. Fitted restrictor to the oil feed. Seems to puke oil on initial start after being stood for a week. Maybe restrictor will help. Boss reckons it's his favourite bike to ride, and he test rides everything we do, including ZZR1400's and S1000RR etc. Only comment was it went off a bit after a speedy run, like fuel starvation. Could float heights affect fuel supply?
  2. I've always put them in with ring gaps out of line. I have read that they rotate anyway so not to worry.
  3. Cool thanks @Jdeac. Wanna get some 40's ordered to try and sort the idle on the turbo Bandit. Bikes at work so couldn't check.
  4. Can anyone confirm if the Bandit 12 pilots have the bleed holes or not please?
  5. Thanks @JdeacI'm gonna sort it after work tomorrow. If I get stuck I'll shout you.
  6. Thanks @Paulmand @clivegto I'll be back.
  7. Thanks @clivegtoDoes it matter which banjo it goes in? Access to the one at the turbo is tight.
  8. That's neat. Will look at making something similar. I've read that people fit one way valves. Any links for one? Not sure what I'm looking for.
  9. Thanks @PaulmSeems like i need to get the fuel pressure nailed down properly before I mess with jetting. Yes turbo being fed from the gallery plug. I'm gonna see how much oil gets passed by the turbo Saturday. Not sure what quantity should be passed over say 10 seconds, but somone here will probably know. This is my turbo drain set up.
  10. Can't get a steady reading on the inline guage I use for set up, maybe need a better guage. Carbs are balanced. Main jets size 115. Needle clip position second from the top. Air screws 3 turns out. Will try cutting the spring. Thanks.
  11. I checked the banjos in the oil feed pipe. Nothing there. Looks like braided brake hose and banjos.
  12. Getting oil in the exhaust pipe. Read a lot now that they normally need a restrictor as the pump delivers too much oil. I have a Facet scavenge pump returning oil to the crankcase above the clutch. Checked the feed pipe banjos and no restrictor is present.
  13. Can you remember how big you went up @colinworth79? Nearly there but idle to quarter throttle is all to bollox.
  14. Just read @KATANAMANGLERwrite up on setting up cv's for boost. He had his air screws wound out 8 turns to get an idle. This would require quite a jump in pilot size wouldn't it?
  15. Been for the first test run Fuckin awesome, shoulda done it years ago Few minor issues. Idle is very hit and miss. Bigger pilots have been suggested but could anyone recommend a size? Rough as bollox pulling away from a standstill. Clears at 2000 ish rpm. Malpassi regulator fitted but can't get steady pressure whichever way I turn the screw. Anticlockwise to reduce pressure? Think its getting too much oil to the unidentified 'Chineseum' turbo. Any suggestions for a restrictor size. Don't get a lot of time to tinker with it so any help saves time. Ta.

    Clutch woes

Had similar issue with my 1200. Had 600 pushrod fitted, the one through the gearbox shaft, which was too short. Has the clutch ever worked properly?

  18. What do they look like? Hi Level do them.
  19. Ah. My mistake is going cheap Thought the digital display looked cool I'll look for a better one.
  20. Ah cool. Thanks @colinworth79 Itching to get out on it before the weather turns to shit.
