Mine doesn't say bandit anywhere on it other than the log book. Mine just likes to be different ,it gets confused when it's parked to close to "real" bandits . Perhaps I need some dominator headlights and some anodised trinkets

Why ?? You own one Paul !! It just wears shell suit dinosaur clothes

Tuesday at the highwayman ? Or maybe on the quayside in Ramsey away from all the bikes trying to get a lap in waiting in parliament square

Time to get the TL ready for Donnington

I've considered selling this one no end of times , it's just that everytime I hear it without the baffles in I know I can't. One day the prices will rise then I'd regret it the same as I do selling my 350lc,z1,z1000,750&1100 slabbies . -

Thought of selling it so many times and then I get it running and can't bring myself to once I hear it. I've had it about 8-9 years now and as much as I love my bandit this is the only bike to make me giggle like a child when I ride it, it's hilarious. Everyone should own one at least once -
I've had my TL for years now but it hasn't been on the road for maybe 3-4 years so seeing as it's the 20th Anniversay I thought I'd better get it sorted. It's running again and now just needs its fork seals doing and a general clean up and check over. I'd forgot how much I love the noise this thing makes :-)

Or cut them short and turn them upside down

I like my bandits, mines heavily modded and guess what you'll still get no sympathy here.

You can do tons to bandit, you can change almost every part and guess what ,you'll still get shit for it being a bandit.

No problem, just let me know

I've got a few in the garage if you need one

That's what I've done, hopefully it'll give better results with the flatslides when it goes back on the dyno in a few weeks

Found my rs38's were killing plugs initially and traced it back to rich pilot jets , I had 20's fitted, standard is 17.5 I fitted 15's which now means it starts easier and runs much cleaner , main jets are 135's . These jets may get altered when it goes on the dyno, however my bikes 1216 with a lot of headwork and cams but it seems that 135's work regardless of state of tune

Are you mounting them on the original airbox rubbers ?

Which foam filters are people using on the likes of 36mm cv's or maybe 38mm flatslides ?

Slingshots were a common swap into bandits so in reverse common retro fit shocks into a bandit 1200 mk1 are cbr600rr 03-04 & gsxr1000k7-8 . These are about 312-313mm where as k4-5 are much longer
-
2" hole mod on a mk1 1200 and I ran 127.5 main jets so I'd say the 110 mains are to small. I ran 110 mains just to richened it up a bit when it just had a k&n panel filter and race can

Phew !! No tinsel or bolt on tat

Bandits will always get a hard time on here no matter what you do to them, mine hasn't got a lot of bandit left but it'll still get stick for what it's log book says
