Made some better brackets

Headlight brackets, im copying what I did on me 'arris, ally tube and some brackets, i need a big headlight, a 9 incher, but they are sooo expensive, anyone got one they don't need?? Need some hot metal glue to hold the brackets on.

I normally use a pencil to work it out ill Get my coat

Got a couple of days off after working in Romania So crack on, and as im old I have to get up and pee in the middle of the night. I was lying there trying to go back to sleep when the penny dropped with a big clang!!!!!!!!!!!! move everything down to make more room. temp spacers 30 mm long. Thats better DOH, juts lower the bottom one Excellent, saved half the mudguard

I’ve used those on several Bandits I’ve had can be made to work very well all I do is set the comp and rebound in the middle settings on the clickers, then set sag to suit your weight, 25-35 mm that will Get you somewhere handy as I’m a fat Bastid (18stone) I normally have to go up a spring rate, to get sag correct, use the calculator lachie has shown to get springs for your weight..

Im using what I have in the box of bits so not costing anything the left side will be going straight up to the y piece of top of rocker box so I’ll need one 180 one one end no matter which way up the cooler is It all depends on mudguard clearance

That’s the plan Stan stuck out in Romania with work fro a few weeks so no progress unfortunately i think I’ll have to chop th e back off the mudguard

Yes that was daft, id flopped off, got up, picked the teapot up and restarted it, and was riding over the grass to get to the barrier behind the marshals post, before they red flagged it!!!!!!!!!!!!! they could have let it run

Yes it is a great starting point, just need a pile of cash to sort it out and make it shiny, might have to flog the teapot to pay for it though

Filled the sump and pushed the tit, we have oil pressure. Now i need to find somewhere for all the wires!! a big headlight i reckon?? Also need some coils and another ignition switch,, so do i nick bits from the teapot or flog it whole???

Now electricity, i hate bodged looms and im no where clever enough to make one, so complete Mk2 bandit loom, and all ancillaries, link out the clutch switch, temporary battery and all the lights come on and solenoid clicks, hooray

Temp pipes for head cooler, so i can wind it over..

They are well away from the pipes
