  1. stunning bike ,well built , and used the way it was intended
  2. bit of work done today ,went too see my best mate jb who re wired the yamaha switchgear with the suzuki wires from the bandit switch gear (not what i had planned i was going to chop plug of yam switchgear and then do same with the suzuki one ) lucky he is very good too me , motion pro throttle fitted , also carbs with a little help from trusty ratchet strap

  4. 260mm wide 280mm tall and the brackets are 100mm front too back , quite hard to get originals but easy enough to fashion some as your near a very clever chap

  8. totally agree not a cafe racer , unless its the teapot (katana oilcooled ) that gets butchered in to a cafe racer style thing
  9. i wanted the seperate switch gear and quick action throttle as its more modified (and its making it more my bike than garry s ) then if that makes any sense
  10. bloody italians using m7 nuts on disc carrier ring £7.19 each x 4 had too order as dont have m7 in my many boxes of stainless still happy that i have all the major parts to carry on
  11. yeah cushdrive and so finally all the parts are here to get this build back on track want it built for october for stafford show with the ssmcc (bike wont be painted by then no money )
  12. ordered a quick action throttle for the rs carbs and will need to fit the slimmer switch gear from an 02 yamaha r1

  16. i like bandits 1200 , i have a 650 bandit in the garage thats my mrs bike, great bike
  17. i am still waiting for the cush drive sprocket etc from the states , but i can now progress with other areas of the build
  18. ok some minor mods too get this into the 1980 s frame 2004 mv agusta brutale swingarm , second picture shows how much travel and doesnt hit bodywork

  20. very true , great bikes as a donor too keep old suzuki s going strong , and they are very easy too just get on and ride .
  21. Not much has happened as few builds on the go but at least the paint will be hard so having the decals fitted wont be as big a worry . Need to grab a chain and sprockets think 630 was the size back in the day . Who was the guy on the old site that sourced chains etc was it richard ?
  22. had some wrinkle paint on the shelf so quick clean and also took the seat on a road trip too tony archer in huddersfeild .
