Looking into soda blasting

Work had me working late so couldnt get van and other bike to Stafford. So as my frame is away with stewart at saxon engineering . I thought i would start cleaning up my engine before pic for now

i nearly fitted a k8 swingarm , my idea was too have a shock mount welded to the top of the swingarm infront of where the hole is for the shock to come thru . that then keeps the shock in the correct orientation

i am currently having a bit of surgery on rear shock mount too . but a word of warning the harris frames are designed to have shock orientation as a cantilever , the frames are braced for this i have heard of people fitting diffrent swing arms and not having the bracing in right place . a chap fitted a ducati sssa as a rising rate and buckled his frame he had used the seat rails and put a tube between then a shock mount he went for a spirited ride hit a bad bit of road and it didnt end well

all these trick frame bikes are lovley and are worth good money as are no longer made

nose fairing primed and mudguard small repair and primed few boxes packed so nothing gets damaged

bike stripped frame and tank delivered to a top bloke who builds frames and is going to help do a small mod on the frame rear shock mount , and a tank mod

front fairing and front mudguard are off at painters being primmed as the colours are sending my eye s screwy , getting all the assorted electrical items together to check i am nearly ready for the loom . need to have a move round as too many parts that can get bashed/ damaged are in here having a few rear shocks too get this thing sitting right , i need to get the rearsets mounted on for test fit of me and bike and the reach to the bars then i can have new mounting plates made for the giles reasets

dezza . No he copied another magnum 1 seat from my mate . I am having my tank modified to fit the frame . I have been trying to buy a spare tank but no luck so far

And on the build

just had a new seat made by ragged edge racing , and i am looking into water jetted new shock mount then having it brazed on too frame

i have had lots of interest in this build , and a few enquires into me selling but its not going too happen , i want too finish it and get it too stafford for a meeting with the ssmcc (harris owners club), also hoping to take the fbob heron one , will have too see how much room i have .

i have rs 36 mikuni s , std bore and sb filters and open pipe no baffle ,i have 135s in not had it on dyno yet but seams fine on road
