  1. Not necessarlily as both are a 3mm overbore on standard liners
  2. No idea John, but to get to 1327 you need new liners anyway. You can get 1230cc on standard efe block or 1170 on standard kat block. To go 1327 I would advise buying an old set of efe barrels and some new liners
  3. dont know on the 1074 block. I have 1327 in my efe block (1135) with a liner swap and crankcase boring. Never tried in the earlier block sorry
  4. there is a genuine GSXR1100W one on egay at the moment and there was one last week, so they do come up for sale
  5. great build. Wish I had the fabrication skills you have
  6. Dunno yet! that engine is still sat in the shed while I concentrate on finishing two projects, one of which is another wp but the engine is all together on that one. Sorry that is not much help
  7. The old skool look is the way with this one. Looks great Kyle.
  8. I went on the samco site and the 1100 has the same kit code as the 750. I will look in to it more now that you have posted the above info. I might have to buy separate bits anyway as I don't have a standard set up samco says - 1100WP / WR 1993-1995 is same kit as 750WN / WP 1993 - 1995
  9. Hi, as above, does anyone know if the rubber hoses are the same for 750 waterboilers and 1100 waterboilers? I ask as I want to source some coloured hoses for my 1100 wp project but only 750 seem to be listed on the main sites I have looked at. I would think they will be the same. Anyone know? cheers
  10. Blubber tells me that you were looking for an efe frame? I have one that has been slightly modified for sale in the ads section. Not sure if you can see for sale section ?? Its £120 collected from Lancashire but has had the rear seat rails altered. Let me know if its of interest and I'll see if I can send you the pics through here. Cheers

it would, but you will need either some old seat rails that have been cut off or someone who can weld and fabricate. I have it advertised on facebook in aircooled Suzuki and a guy on there has offered a cut off seat rail piece that could be used to get it back to standard. I am in Lancashire. Are you anywhere near?

I'm near Pontefract, so not a million miles away, thanks for taking the time to get in touch, but with funds being used up on my GSX 750es will have to take a rain check for now.

      Thanks again, Jase

  11. Ah, thought this one might be going over to the darkside like Anna's coax. Glad to hear you are sticking with old skool
  12. you won't be needing that draw thru stuff then ?? I can give it a good home
  13. Nothing to see here,......move along... only kidding Kyle. Looking forward to seeing this one in the flesh so to speak. Donnington next year or earlier?
  14. might be worth advertising on here and the ACS page on FB if you are still wanting to sell it
  15. Really! I would have thought a Kat at £3.5k would go straightaway assuming its an 1100? Quite few people talking about copying that colourscheme it would appear
  16. Have you thought of getting GIA to make you one? £5k - £6k at a guess for a frame kit
  17. it was on our stand at Donnington. Spondon owners club.
  18. yes, same bike, but now back in big cc colours
  19. The spondon kat is back with Phil Wood who used to race it. He only got it back last year and has built it back up as it was in the big c.c. red and yellow. I think it may be back on the strip by now. Not much chance of him selling it
  20. good spot. Photoshop in action ! I like the colour scheme of the one they are building though.
  21. they have a two piece steel frame inside the fairing which mounts off the headstock at the front and also on the sides of the mainframe. You can see exploded views on Robinsons website under Suzuki parts if you want an idea of what they look like. At the end of the day you can get anything to fit anything. You may be better making the support frame from scratch as kat ones are not easy to get hold of at reasonable money. You can get them new, but would be a shame to cut up a new one
