hello guys,

how do you get more power out of a second gen teapot long stroke engine?

It already has an open exhaust and dual K&N filters.

Does cams from a certain model gsxr fit these engines?

And maybe some other carbs?

fitting an 1100 is not an option

Cheers

yea you've already done everything thats worth the effort on a 750 teapot motor. Nothing else you do to it is gonna make it rip your tits off. Your best option at this point is a bigger plant.

Take it it's for your et project ?

I believe the teapot already has the 36mm carbs, you could put the gsxr cams in which will give some more bhp but you will lose the mid power as the power/revs will go up the range.

My last teapot powdered bike I had lots of fun with most of all on the twists and turns, but on a open road you cannot beet the grunt of a bigger motor, gsxr1127,gsx1127f or b12 for the cash.

You could big bore the 750 to 884cc I think, but your looking at about £500 for that which is more that you would pay for the bigger lump.

I dont know too much but I advise against turbo 600-750 bikes... So much money and trouble. Then it makes 160 hp and it's constantly on the ragged edge of blowing something apart.    general consensus you should find an 1127/1157/or even a 1052 teabag and dip it into the gsxf. And then turbo it. We'll call it the turbo teabag.

Look at it this way, (eblag pricing) sell the teapot motor apx £250 sell teapot CDI apx £50 use teapot carbs and zorst, buy gsxr1100/b12 motor apx £400-£600 CDI apx £50-£90.

There is a b12 motor on there for £399 says it has ported head and 1216cc kit ???
