replacing oil cooler pipes

Q1 Can I reuse the fittings

Q2 where to buy braided pipe

Q3 what route to send the pipe

looking at your pic, i would say the fittings are re usable.

i get all my fittings and hose from TorquesUK E-bay shop. very good price and service

I've just bought fittings and hose from a place called jjc race and rally it seems that there selling of stuff from aps hose and fittings

How do you measure the fittings to get the right braided pipe to fit the exsisting fittings

The hose fittings are all based off UNF thread sizes in 1/16" size increments.

i.e.

AN3 = 3/16

AN4 = 4/16 or 1/4"

AN8 = 8/16 or 1/4"

Etc etc.

The "AN"      "-"      and    "JIS"   are all basically the same size. Just depends what navy you work for.

So do i measure the id of the pipe which would be the same as the od of the fitting, or is it the id of the fitting, i have the fittings and short pipes have moved the oil cooler

The od thread of the fitting will give you the size.

not sure of the size of the pipe in relation to the fitting. Nominal size is the same as the fitting.
