Wonder if anyone could help me with some information

I have a GS1000 with Wiseco 73mm pistons could anybody tell me what the Cylinder PSI should be with these pistons

I have checked in the manual for normal pistons and it states between 130 to 180 PSI

At present my bike is between 110 and 130 PSI which I think maybe to low

be grateful if anyone can let me know

Thanks Russ

Yup as busa says. if it makes little difference, it'll be down to cam timing or valve seats. You've only just redone the top end, Have you give it a good rag yet? Could need a bit more bedding in.

Something else, do you also have a set of hot cams in your GS, that makes a hell of a lot difference on a GS1000, make sure your exhaust is not restrictive, then a GS isn't so slow anymore... ;)

Cams and better Carbs is what mine need it currently has Gs1100g ones and flat out about 130ish but loads off midrange grunt !...

GS1100 head? What is that in European model? I've got a stock head with bigger ports and valves and 34mm made fit on it..

I also have a beautiful gas flowed head, honestly, it's a piece of art, it runs beautiful, only the @ckh@*d who sold it to me didn't give me the right cam bearing caps, so I had to make it work, and now I don't know if this was the reason for excessive smoking..

suzuki sold a gs1100g (shaft drive) model for a couple of years at the end of the gs's lifesan, it was an 8v gs motor bored to 1100cc, (not the 16 valve gsx1100, which was sold in the american market as the gs1100)
