GSXR 1100 Pingel or Standard tap?

If you're running a 750 tank the standard tap won't keep up with a stock 1127.    Get a 3/8" npt bung welded into the tank, so you can screw the Pingel directly into the tank, else you won't have enough room if you use the Pingel adaptor.

That don't look like it flows more than a standard one ,stop being tight and future proof it with a dual outlet pingle .

You know it makes sense

Apparently it only fits the slabby 750 tanks(34mm spacing). Fortunately I have an 1100 and a 750 tank. The thundercat fits too. This one.

This information comes curtesy of @Mr Cosmo and @Del. Thanks Chaps.

They will foul the oil pipe and if you lift the tank up the frame rail gets in the way of the fuel pipe . this is on a slabby 1100.

I have an 1100 tank and it has a duel outlet pingel but.... it needs a dent repaired and stripped. I will do it over winter. The 750 tank is dentless and primered so I will use it for the moment.

OK, once I have it mocked up I will confirm if it fits or not.

Ok well the R6 tap on a 750 tank and an 1100 frame and engine does hit the oil feed to the head. So I got on the the phone to Ray Debben and bought a 34mm adaptor plate for the twin outlet Pingel I have on the 1100 tank.
