colinworth79
if it was my tank I would cut the whole bottom 'bowl' off and fabricate a new one or find a replacement . You start trying to weld patches on you blow holes in it as the metal is so thin . Quote Link to comment

Gixer1460
From what i've heard, most if not all of the DIY tank liner coatings fail after a while with the ethanol addition in fuel! Why do you feel the need to coat the inside? If you store the bike drain the tank and close the cap, or brim the tank with fuel - both stop rust forming. Quote Link to comment
spiderman
just figured sealing ut might make the repair last longer, but if i dont have to then i wont, saves me the hassle and cost. Quote Link to comment
Crass
POR15 is excellent and is not affected by ethanol Quote Link to comment
