dupersunc Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 V711 engine code is a 1052 slabby engine? can anyone confirm or correct this. I'm rebuilding an ex side car motor, which is fitted with 1127 barrels bored out to 81mm. The gearbox is fubared, so I'm fitting a bandit gearbox cluster, but the out put bearings are different. I need to order the correct bearing for the V711 cases. Original bearing numbers (838031BSH) don't bring anything up on google. Quote

fatblokeonbandit Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 V = 1100—1199cc 7 = Four-stroke, four 11 = the 11th development version of a inline-four four-stroke engine. so its a 1127 not 1052.. I did look into this a while ago as I couldn't believe the price of a new bearing from Suzuki, £118 !!!! and there is no standard ( cheap ) metric equivalent, that was for the 25x62 x 21.6 mm one the earlier bearing is 25 x 62 x 19 £62 ish!!!! best bet is to measure the old one.... 2 Quote

dupersunc Posted December 12, 2016 Author Posted December 12, 2016 Yeah I went with the old fashion measure it method. It's th 25 x 62x 19 version I need, they're a little bit cheaper from CMSNL. I've got a 1100k, and a 1100L motor here and the both have V710 engine no's The 1152 have is V719 and has the wider 21.6mm bearing. Cheers for the replys Quote
Madb Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 I just been looking at an 1100 on a H Plate and that has a v711 engine too. 1127 on barrels. Tho it has 1186 sprayed on rear seat farings so I'm guessing its been fettled. I cant find anything on that v711number either. Quote
Solcambs Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 Just checked my 1100M motor --- it has a V711 number. :o) I quiet like that - it's going in a 750 Katana frame, so 7/11 works for me Quote
marc7/11 Posted December 20, 2016 Posted December 20, 2016 My engine number starts with V711 it is an 1127 motor, I was a bit confused because it is a 7/11 Quote
