Slabby flatslides / GS1000

Opinions please; would Slabby 29's work on a breathed-on GS1000 motor?

i suppose it depends what head you have on your gs, the slide carb head has considerably smaller inlets than the cv carb head.

i have them on my gs1000 but its not been on a rolling road yet

Yes a mate had on a Pip Higham prepped GS thou back when he was the GS man -   It went like stink!

Yes they work well on ever the slide or CV heads, if you have the slide carb head you will need bigger inlet rubbers which you can get off the bay or use z1000j one  

You will NOT be able to use the standard airbox thou, before some one asks.

Asking for the Knarf; no airbox, not even a head atm

They work.....especially if they are bored out to 33mm ... lighter and better than the VM33 smoothbores in my humble opinion.

ive got a set of bored out slaby flatslides, i was going to wait till i had them on a bike before trying to figure out a baseline for the jetting cos theyre still jetted for a slabby so will be a million miles out.
