looks like a great finish that Clive, have you used it before? is it hard wearing?

Yes Steve it's hard as hell, have used it on small parts also painted the two fridges we have in the house with the stuff over 2 years ago now which are still good even though we have a Blue.

Painted a small section on the back of the frame with lidle gloss black. This part of the frame sticks out under the seat unit, by painting it black it almost will become invisible with the body work on.  Well that's my thinking anyway. IMG_20200823_163008.thumb.jpg.379030e1b4ab855a4d5559805352f375.jpgIMG_20200823_164151.thumb.jpg.c701d70755dd2b13f837a3b9f64e7a6e.jpgIMG_20200823_164123.thumb.jpg.3c81494eb0bf175731beea3d4d2a837f.jpgIMG_20200823_165618.thumb.jpg.140d0744aa687460a452fcac7d69b06c.jpg

Took the disc of the back wheel to clean it up, the grubby looking disc bolts were titanium so gave them a polish, look like new. Used the gold titanium ones I got for this on the carbon fiber wheels on my Turbo Scratcher. IMG_20200823_185018.thumb.jpg.10a463f79f2f56c88b43081cf20fb0d9.jpgIMG_20200823_184852.thumb.jpg.475ab8111646bd4b5c9ab8bfdad37650.jpg

Scored some gsxr 1000 L6 discs that had only done 1100 miles for not a lot of money. Like new almost way better than the ones I had onthe mockup. IMG_20200826_193348.thumb.jpg.758ecf23c0177af81e90f50a08b831a8.jpgIMG_20200826_195108.thumb.jpg.bdca206614461cdf253db60595b98582.jpg

Cleaned the oil coolers up by putting them in the ultrasonic cleaner then rinsing them of in the shower & drying them on a radiator with a towel under them. Gave them a light clean with a small light wire brush & painted them with 1/2 can of high tem satin black I had left on the shelf, still a bit left as well. IMG_20200827_183434.thumb.jpg.bd7f51a43164a0ed91cf4e9ae9f78fbc.jpgIMG_20200827_183252.thumb.jpg.dcb1a1b1c87aa2bf372e19669404cf67.jpgIMG_20200827_183230.thumb.jpg.2f1b289ce0cea71ff3439c633ddf2901.jpg

Picked some more stuff up from the powder coaters.  Called in to see John Warrington on the way to get some fork oil as well.

Had to clean a bit of powdercoating of the sprocket carrier & the caliper hanger before fitting the back wheel. Rebuilt the old brembo caliper that Brian McCall aqua blasted & painted with his brake fluid resistant paint. IMG_20200829_151708.thumb.jpg.b597d2ef8186ff9f58876519ad9a7b6f.jpgIMG_20200829_164427.thumb.jpg.a08fc3b8770aa7d67d52eb5f9d99329e.jpgIMG_20200829_164813.thumb.jpg.ca646a2894e646e40dc1dcd504b116e8.jpg

Made a little bracket out oo some 50x50x6mm aluminum angle for the back brake caliper to fasten to the back brake lever. The 2 holes have m8 threads & use locking nuts to secure the bolts. Also went for a spin on my Turbo Scratcher, called in to Helmsley for a bag of chips on my travels. IMG_20200831_162723.thumb.jpg.c3e79a29026a4ed2f6735702adba9aed.jpgIMG_20200831_164916.thumb.jpg.a213ed09711d24728482e07d4e3db98d.jpgIMG_20200831_164916.thumb.jpg.a213ed09711d24728482e07d4e3db98d.jpgIMG_20200831_170940.thumb.jpg.ad417f015100f70149a8e46a0c0cc6d8.jpgIMG_20200831_171116.thumb.jpg.f41350ca61874d3c7e8cf5b6238663c6.jpgIMG_20200831_144558.thumb.jpg.555f91fde010fce53d91119a253593dc.jpg

Gold anodising on the fork tubes was a bit scrached for my liking so I got them powdered gloss black. I had a chat with the coaters before hand asking them just to apply a thin layer of powder, they assured me it wasn't a problem & had done quite a few sets for customer's in the past. Fitted new seals, dust caps & fresh fork oil. Had to lever the yokes open a little to slide them in but it wasn't a problem. Then refitted the front wheel as well. IMG_20200907_152529.thumb.jpg.782c129eeb9cea12a484ea929a3892a5.jpgIMG_20200907_155749.thumb.jpg.ef76cb29afa51447db2204535c8d01fb.jpgIMG_20200907_164810.thumb.jpg.f5375f32b03711f7c87726e02fbe549a.jpgIMG_20200907_171626.thumb.jpg.48f6e23e70eb20f54900c4bcd8b98d04.jpgIMG_20200907_171635.thumb.jpg.2e3ca597af67c340248c5fa20a5a0154.jpgIMG_20200907_180019.thumb.jpg.2ca3bfecf92f0f5407ffd11af149ac87.jpg
