Swap over to Ramair socks, they work better than the k&n filters. I could not get my brothers slabby(1052 with bst38ss,started 0n 140 mains, but when dyno'd was down to 130)right on k&n duals,so swapped over to the ramsir socks with silicones bellmouths(or airbox rubbers, got it spot-on.Quite a few(John Oliver, etc) have used them and also got good results :)

They fit in the tighter spaces on the frames, they don't crunch up llike the k&n filters :)

Same configuration on a bandit...150 is too rich...the bike runs well cold on 147.5 but it's still rich at sea level and shit when hot.  135 is too lean (for me)...I'm trying 142.5 ish (in the post).

I'd do either a Factory Pro or Dynojet kit and some quality time on a dyno measuring the AFR, with the K&Ns. Just throwing main jets at it isn't going to be very successful. A good jet kit will help improve the lift rates of the CV slides and supply jet needles to match the lift rates.

I personally wouldn't waste money on jet kits,I have found they cause more problems than they solve, that is imo and I am sticking to it :)
I have got pretty good results from getting a rough idea of sizes from people on sites like this, doing a plug chop and then just a couple of runs on a dyno just to make sure it is bob on.
You will get better results from the ramair duals i put above.Speak to Yoshijonny,he'll tell you the same :)

Got 34mm carbs which are only 52mm intake, so the reducer will be too big, would silicone tube do the job? Seen it in meter lengths that I could cut to length, if so what length, I know bell mouths come in 30mm and 50mm, OEM intake rubber length might be a good idea as well if anyone has the size.
