  2. rebuilt carbs lowered floats to 14mm lowered regulator psi my fuel pump is wired to kill switch I've put bike back together test rode it seemed ok came onto boost around 6k double checked my vac feeds took it back out and now like there's fuel starvation can't rev above 3k in neutral can rev bike but rev high say like 9k rpm when revs lower bike will cut straight out think my fuel pressure gauge reads crap seems to read 3psi when on and not running but the 2psi or there abouts if needle stopped flapping around when bike is running

Big fall back today fitted cooler filled with oil ect connected up fuel tank tried firing it up and realised fuel has flooded and into turbo aswell sorted that after few hours engine drain new oil ect set pressure reg to 2psi seems to be having problems starting and running when fuel pump turned on can run bike ticks over fine turn fuel pump on starts playing up / cuts out think I may have leaky float valves so will check float height tomorrow and set to 14mm and see how it goes from there heres a quick vid without fuel pump on no video as can't upload wrong format or some shit like that
  4. This kit is also from Pete jetting instructions he told me were 115 mains stock pilots 2.5 air screws needles second from top he said most bandits he turbo use them settings
  5. Just wondering how the air filter copes when riding in wet weather is there a cover Available to go over the filter to help protect it
  6. been busy over xmas with getting this done all fitted and ready just waiting on an10 lines to arrive for cooler should all be ready to fire up Wednesday/Thursday hopefully
  7. Same situation I'll be in soon with my b12 turbo I'm going with 115 mains 2nd clip from top 2.5 turns on air screws and then see where I'm at my fuel pressureis set to 2psi
  8. picked up a decent low mileage b12 few weeks back been using it as daily runner always wanted to have a turbo bandit so sold of few parts and started on it engine is stock only a lock clutch installed have a spare motor so that's currently in pieces awaiting a rebore for busa pistons will fit this engine just before summer next year for now It will be running low boost well hope to anyway current setup is around 8psi but ive got a 3psi spring but sure it's wrong size it's a turbosmart 38 spring and my wastegate is tial so will check springs against each other so far headers turbo filter ect fitted oil feed and return done with a pump for return fuel pump and regulator fitted and plumbed in plenum and pipework fitted need to order a cooler and lines boost gauge and thinking about a fuel pressure gauge never done this before so a lot of learning research modification ect ect but sure I'll get there in the end

  14. hi all i need height clearance on my gsx zuma Kat rep b12 engine with b12 carbs no room on tap even with pingel i have a set of 36 gsxf 750 carbs nice direct fit and lower height clearance is perfect cant find any info about f carbs on bandit will they work will I need to re-jet ect planning on using airbox for ease cba with tuning for pods any help appreciated
  15. putting together a cooler kit for gsxr/bandit motor ive always used an8 hose and fittings but as i have a brand new 16row cooler and bracket an10 fittings can i use an10 pipes compared to previous builds with an8 sizes an10 is bigger diameter so what best an8 or an10 cheers

  18. did the 1100 kats come in any other colours apart from silver , silver/blue, silver/red been offered a 1100 kat pristine condition stock apart from the color being orange on bodywork blokes saying its factory paint? for the price i couldn't give a shit if it was pink just awaiting to collect it now what should i expect this bike to be worth few details imported into uk 87 kph clocks showing 17k all stock apart from color i guess full documents runs
  19. 3 to become 1 going to be a long expensive project but nearly got everything plan is as follows mk1 1200 frame orange seat unit and headlight mask extended arm and forks from gsx engine out of black bandit turbo system from pete on stock motor???? put engine from gsx into black bandit then sell whole bike use bandit 6 front and rear into gsx and replace engine with original motor then sell just need a decent low mileage hpi clear bandit 1200 frame to start this all of any thoughts / opinions befoe i hit this of reason for turbo stock motor is if i dont like it turbo gets sold on but very unlikely i wont like it this project hasnt started yet but will be by end of the month
  20. hi all will be using my b12 motor in my 750 and putting into a slingshot frame ill be putting original engine back in the original engine has a issue with second gear under heavy load it jumps out of second friggin scary when not expecting it to do it what the worse case split cases remove gearbox? or can it be done without spitting cases ie remove all side cases clutch sump and going in that way what could be the issue worn 2nd gear fork selector ect

  22. hi mate carbs were of 22k mile bike very good condition all air screws nice and free no split diaphragms slides move freely no chewed screws was on my running bandit now put the engine and carbs into a gsx frame but had to go with dual filters so been messing past few days with different main jets pilots needles ect with no luck ive just put the carbs back to stock settings 102.5 mains 37.5 pilot jets 1.3/4 turns on air screws needles 4 clip down may need to have them balanced if anything

  24. Wish I could use air box b12 engine inside gsx frame so no choice but filters unfortunately
