Oil cooled crankshaft GSXR1127 into a gsx750

Fellas,

Im pretty new to site and still finding my way around. Can some one direct me to the content on what parts swap with each other or can fit.

Ive got a 750 GS/GSX 750 Kat 1982 and lots of GSXR1100/750  engines.

Q1) is can I fit a 1052 or 1127 crank into the gs/gsx 750 cases

Q2) what size sleeve can be fitted to the GSX 750 block ?

Im aware I will need to bore cases for resleeving.

Idea is a 1127 crank into the 750 GS/GSX with GS/GSX1100 sleeves and 74mm pistons.

And If its  then someone here has done it.

My calcs say its an end result of 1015cc. Gets me at a 1000cc Kat basically.

I have plenty to measure but I do not have a GSX/GS 750 crank to measure against.

Any help appreciated

NO! - GSX750 has plain bearing crank, 1000 & 1100 have roller / ball bearing cranks so totally incompatible + stroke on 1100 will no doubt catch on the cases!

he's talking about an OILCOOLED crankshaft.

Swiss Toni, really appreciate the link.

Ive got lots of GSXR stuff that I am looking to retro fit to a Katana . Try to build what was available from suzuki to upgrade the Kat the way they should have made available.

Couldve released a trick Kat back then but the GSXR took the world by storm and rightly so.
