Nickel Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 So, like Schooter has done, here are some pics of my Mag4 covered in carbon. Coming modifications: Mikuni TMR36 instead of RS, fork with radial calipers, hope I can get a fork from GSXR1000 K5 or younger.Mag 4 makes a lot of fun to ride.Cheers 2 Quote
Jaydee Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 Very tidy. The Bellini TNT swingarm looks like it was made for the Harris frame. Nice work. Quote
Guest Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 has the frame been Nickel plated or is it chrome? Quote
Nickel Posted July 9, 2015 Author Posted July 9, 2015 Frame is nickel plated and the wheels PVM Phönix. Quote

Nickel Posted July 11, 2015 Author Posted July 11, 2015 Tank and seat unit is carbon covered. It's not a real carbon tank. Quote
BaveR Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 What brand is the exhaust? Muffler seems a Yoshi... Quote

kiwi Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 (edited) is the tank dipped or layered over??I'd guess carbon wrapped and yes it can be a Diy job but practice first as it takes time to get it right, just look up carbonmods.co.uk Edited July 12, 2015 by kiwi Quote
ads54 Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Tank and seat unit is carbon covered. It's not a real carbon tank. I kinda guessed that but would have been nice if it was eh?! did you do it yourself? Quote
Nickel Posted July 13, 2015 Author Posted July 13, 2015 This is the guy, who made the tank and seat unit carbon cover: http://www.nohldesign.de/Startseite/Downpipes are "Schüle" and the muffler is "Speed Products", with a Yoshi sticker. Benelli TNT swingarms are hard to find and meanwhile very expensive. Made a bargain with mine. 1 Quote
kiwi Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 Benelli TNT swingarms are hard to find and meanwhile very expensive. Made a bargain with mine. Just waiting on some pictures as the bike has been down the road, but the price is very reasonableNot many come up for sale in the UK, but several abroad but if you get hit with customs and import duty makes for an expensive item Quote
Nickel Posted July 14, 2015 Author Posted July 14, 2015 If you have a look at all the bikes, that have been modified with TNT swingarms, there could not be any TNTs "on" the road. Here in germany they are very popular for trick frames and steel tubed frames, like bandit a.s.o.I had mine nickel plated, but this has been higher in price, than the swingarm itself. Quote
schooter Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 I had mine nickel plated, but this has been higher in price, than the swingarm itself. but it looks very greate Quote
